Leon Shapiro, Chief Executive Officer

Leon Shapiro- CEO Vistage InternationalLeon was named CEO of Vistage effective March 31, 2013. He is also a Director at The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO) and eTouches Inc.

Between 2007 and 2011, Leon served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Operations, at Warner Music Group. From 2005 to 2006, he served as Group President of The NPD Group, Inc., a global provider of consumer and retail information, where he led all of their entertainment and technology related businesses.

From 1989 to 2004, Leon was with Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, where he served as President, Gartner Executive Programs and was a member of the Gartner Leadership Team. Previously, Leon was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Gartner Community, which included Gartner’s Worldwide Events, Best Practices and Executive Programs business divisions.

Leon earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.

Ruby L. Randall, President and Chief Operating Officer

Ruby Randall- COO Vistage InternationalRuby Randall oversees Vistage’s worldwide operations and its global community comprised of over 17,000 members, 1000 speakers, 700 independent-contractor Chairs, and 150 employees. Since joining Vistage in 2007, Ruby increased organic growth rate of the core business while simultaneously creating incremental growth by launching new products/services, expanding into new markets, penetrating deeper into existing markets, and developing new sales channels. She was pivotal in the successful sale of the company to private equity investors in 2012. Ruby has extensive background in creating scalable, predictable growth of human capital-intensive businesses in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.

Between 2002 and 2007, Ruby was CEO & President of Robbins Research International (dba Anthony Robbins Companies), the leading provider of personal development and peak performance coaching to business leaders around the world, reaching over 50 million people from over 100 countries. Ruby led a diffuse power structure, including thousands of volunteers and contractors, to grow the core and pioneer innovations that transformed a celebrity/founder-dependent business into a sustainable, scalable model.

During her tenure at 20th Century Fox, Ruby launched new product lines (rental videos, sell-through videos, laser disks, video games, and online e-commerce) and expanded into new distribution channels driving rapid growth of the new Fox Home Entertainment division to over $850 million in just six years.

Ruby advanced through progressive levels of responsibilities with such quality organizations as 20th Century Fox, Upper Deck, and Procter & Gamble Distributing Company. Positions included Chief Operating Officer, President of Sales and Chief Marketing Officer. Throughout her career, Ruby has garnered numerous business and workplace-excellence awards. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rochester, while starting up her first business, and earned an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.

M. Beau Paradowski, CPA, Chief Financial Officer

M. Beau Paradowski, CPA, Chief Financial OfficerBeau comes to Vistage with more than 22 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Beau was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Slacker, Inc., a music streaming service serving over 500,000 monthly subscribers. Prior to Slacker, Beau was Chief Financial Officer of Turbine, Inc., one of the largest privately held online gaming studios in North America. Turbine is responsible for some of the world’s most popular and award winning online games and was sold to Warner Bros., a wholly owned subsidiary of Time Warner, Inc., in April 2010. Beau also served as Chief Financial Officer at Optasite, Inc., a start-up cell tower owner/operator that he helped grow to over 500 sites, culminating in the sale of the Company to SBA Communications in September 2008 for $430 million. As Chief Financial Officer of Clearwire Technologies, Inc., a broadband wireless access provider backed by Goldman Sachs, Beau led the sale of Clearwire to Craig McCaw in 2004. Beau received a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude from Texas A&M University.

Ryan Roney, Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President, Business Development

CEO Organization- Vistage Executive TeamRyan Roney joined Vistage in 2012. He has responsibility for all legal matters, including contracts, compliance, business ethics, dispute resolution, intellectual property, corporate governance and other areas requiring his legal advice and business judgment. Ryan is also responsible for Vistage’s business development function aimed at developing and implementing corporate growth opportunities. He serves as Vistage’s Corporate Secretary.

Prior to Vistage, Ryan was Chief Compliance Officer for Powerwave Technologies, Inc., a NASDAQ listed telecommunication business. He previously served as General Counsel of Smiths Detection’s global business, a $1 billion division of Smiths Group plc, a FTSE 100 company based in the UK. Ryan also served on the Board of Directors of Crossmatch Technologies, Inc., a biometric identity management business. He is a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of Warm Spring Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean and hot water to developing countries and areas impacted by natural disasters.

Ryan is a member of the California State Bar and State Bar of Michigan. He has vast international experience, including work in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.

Ryan received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. He started his career as an Associate working at the law firm White & Case.

Michael Molina, Chief Human Resources Officer

Executive Team- Executive Coaching OrganizationMichael D. Molina has more than 20 years’ experience as a Human Resources executive in providing human resources and organization development strategy to corporate and business groups worldwide.  Molina has played an active role on executive teams of global organizations proving guidance on the human resource function.  Most recently he served as Chief Human Resource Officer at Brahma Holdings, a software development organization. Before that, he was Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Advanced Marketing Services, a book distributor, wholesaler and publisher.  He also was with EquaTerra, a sourcing solutions organization.  He has held executive positions at Gateway and Mobil Corporation.  Molina’s international experience includes work in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Barbados, Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Canada, Ireland and Malaysia.

Molina holds a B.S. degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a M.S. degree in industrial relations both from West Virginia University.

Larry Hawks, Executive Vice President, Field Operations

Larry Hawks- Executive Vice President- Vistage InternationalLarry brings over 30 years of business success to his current role of Executive Vice President – Field Operations. He leads our national field operations team who partner with and support over 400 Vistage Chairs leading over 850 Vistage groups across the United States.

Prior to joining the senior management team in 2010, Larry was an award winning Vistage Chair, Best Practice Chair, speaker, and strategic planning expert. He led Vistage private advisory boards for seven years from 2003-2009, and coached over 50 CEOs. He was also the founder and principal of GrowthPoint Partners, a firm that specializes in helping business owners accelerate profitable growth.

From 1979-2002 Larry was with Marketing Communications, Inc, where he served as President when the firm became an operating unit of Harte-Hanks, an NYSE public company and global leader in direct marketing and database analytics. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer for a number of their different operating businesses, and led the pharmaceutical services division. Earlier in his career he was with the General Systems Division of the IBM Corporation.

Larry earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
